Now is the time for Danish or Nordic bands and artists to apply for SPOT Festival 2007, which takes place on 31 May – 2 June 2007. The music business can also make suggestions for bands to be considered for the festival, which is the 13th of its kind.
This year all the concerts at the SPOT Festival have once again been reviewed for the column SPOT Live - in Danish, but this
year's best concerts have also been made available in English thanks to the staff at Mymusic.dk.
SPOT is over, but there is still an opportunity to 'taste' the music of five of the bands, which were recorded – and interviewed by experienced music journalists – LIVE in a cosy studio, a concept called SPOTCAST.
At 01.00 am on Sunday night, ROSA's manager Gunnar Madsen concluded that the SPOT Festival went very well. All feedback indicates that the audience, musicians, and industry guests were very satisfied.
You might just have been at a superb concert, and now you want more? Maybe you've been on the lookout for a particular EP with your favourite artist? - Or maybe you just want to check out if it's true that we are still selling vinyl.?
Due to an important EU vote on Friday – which means that both Mogens Jensen (S) and Ellen Trane Nørby (V) are busy – the seminar on ”Music and Media legislation” at the SPOT Festival will be moved from Friday to Saturday at 15.30 pm in the conference room at SAS Radisson.
