How you become a Volunteer at SPOT

Being a volunteer at SPOT is hard work
but also a lot of fun
Without all the volunteers, the SPOT Festival would not exist. Every year hundreds of skilled, enthusiastic, and hardworking volunteers play a crucial part in running the festival professionally and smoothly.

Being a volunteer can be hard work, and sometimes hanging out with your friends or seeing the gigs you would like is not an option. Doing the job takes discipline and responsibility: You must show up on time for your shifts, be thorough and efficient, and invariably meet the festival guests with a smile.

Obviously there isn’t any money in it – only the ticket, food, and a SPOT 11 t-shirt. However, being part of this teamwork of enthusiastic and indispensable volunteers is rewarding in itself. It’s this teamwork that really makes SPOT take off, and which makes it possible to hold this annual festival which puts a spot on Danish and Nordic upcoming music both in Denmark and abroad.

A lot of the volunteers are hooked and return year after year, but we can always use more volunteers. So if you are interested, please send us an email on frivillig@rosa.org and tell us a bit about what kind of work you’re interested in and when you would like to work.
