Henrik Friis

The Chinese guests will be Yan Jun (owner of Subjam Records, rock critic and freelance writer), Laura Son (Artspages Beijing – digital distribution) and Canadian Jon Campbell (music writer for the English language dailies in Beijing, manager and concert organizer). Their visit has been arranged by Martin Røen – former coordinator for ROSA – in association with the Danish Cultural Institute in Beijing, ELD – Cultural Waves plc and the Danish Arts Council.

And the Japanese guests will be Ken Mamenoi (production manager and second-in-command for the organizers and promoters Creativeman), Sebastian Meir, Canadian with more than 10 years of experience in Japan ( the publishing company Fujipacific and consultant for both records companies and studios) and British David Royer (music journalist, producer at Juicemusic TV – national Japanese pop rock magazine-site-tv). The visit has been arranged by Kim Mortensen from the Danish Export Council.

American Ryan Schreiber, founder of
Pitchforkmedia.com, reckoned to be the
hottest new music website right now - at SPOT.
And two Polish journalists will pay a visit to SPOT: Mariusz Filar (BIS Polskie Radio) and Jordan Babula (Teraz Rock Magazine). Their visit is arranged through a collaboration with the Royal Danish Embassy in Warsaw.

In addition to the guests form the three countries, there will be continued representation, to name a few, from France, Spain, Belgium and USA, the last of which will be represented by Ryan Schreiber, founder of Pitchforkmedia.com, reckoned to be the hottest new music website right now.

The SPOT Festival and Music Export Denmark will host a luncheon for the international delegates during the festival.

More than 100 international media and industry people are expected to visit this year's edition of the SPOT Festival.
