F.U.K.T. (DK), Voxhall, 3 June
-  If you are the type that must obey the broken beat when D.Js or bands play it loud, you will have a swell time dancing yourself into a sweat attack with the live drum’n’bassin’ FUKT up kids.

The energy that FUKT rides high on, is taken from the electronically derived drum n bass and is live kept up by the drummer and the bass player, supported by two guys with lap tops, pushing a few buttons and doing the techno monkey.

The mostly sampled vocals punched a few holes in the often claimed "Best live band in Denmark"-hype, well into the set a rapper with limited vocabulary entered the stage, but only when a talented singer joined the band on stage, did the audience get the authentic live feeling.

The band plays the genre with great fidelity, and I am a bit surprised that FUKT is not more ambitious with their song writing, the number of warm bodies on stage should give the group potential to transcend the line between innovation and imitation.

The songs are catchy and easy to make moves to, and that is pretty cool, but I find it hard to let go of the thought that the term "live" covers a great many things these days.
