- Masterful blend of jazz and rock in a subtle Saturday noon wake-up show.

Bandapart was perfectly cast as the opening act on the second day of SPOT Festival. Their sensitive and atmospheric mix of rock and jazz sounds seemed to suit the audience well this early Saturday afternoon.
The wholly instrumental show began with abstract, dreamlike compositions, carried by the soft sounds of the double bass and easygoing drums played with whiskers. As the concert went on, the music shifted towards a fuller sound and a steadier beat, guiding the audience gently though the wake-up process, which is the subtle task of any festival’s second day opener.
Bandapart got themselves and the audience well warmed up, and both the band and the audience was in the mood for more music, when the strictly enforced timetable ended the show.
