Hyperactive, rhythmic electronica with crazy, sharp beats might not be what most people associate with a winner of The Danish Arts Foundation's competition for young composers. It does, however, describe Karsten Pflum whose quick, complex beats with digital rattle and computer game sounds impressed BBC's now deceased DJ legend John Peel among others.
