Considering their roots in jazz, it wasn't quite in the cards that the five members of I Got You On Tape would take the indie rock road – even so, in January their album debut was released by the label Auditorium. The style is a hybrid of Interpol's art rock and the dusty, hypnotic sound track of an American road movie: Dreamy tempo and beautiful monotony.
