Emil de Waal has played drums on a host of Danish releases, and he has worked as a conductor, a composer, and a teacher. Emil de Waal Plus is his debut as a solo artist with great musical imagination, and with a point of departure in modern jazz, he and the two band members span such diverse genres as electronica, rock, and free jazz.
